ESIC Model Hospital, Rourkela (An ISO: 9001:2015 Certified Hospital) is a 50 bedded hospital of the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation, Under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India is located in a scenic ambience at the outskirt of ‘Steel City’, Rourkela spread over an area of 4 acres. Presently it has 50 commissioned beds, 10 observation beds, and 6 HDU beds catering to 1.5 lakh IPs and their families.

         The main objective of the hospital is to provide holistic health care i.e. preventive, curative, and rehabilitative as well as the spiritual well being of the IPs and their families.

         It is primarily a secondary care hospital and patients are referred from 6 dispensaries of Rourkela as well as from far off places like Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Hirakud, and adjoining areas.
